EBC Brakes Ford Explorer ST GD Sport 363mm rotors feature feature dimple drilling and slots to prevent brake fade and improve performance.
Dimple drilling. The dimple drilling that is utilized on these EBC rotors allows for degassing and improved friction while also resisting stress cracking. This process was invented by EBC in the 90s and is mimicked by other brands due to its success.
Excellent cooling. Wide aperture slots on the rotors cool the pad contact temperatures by drawing air under the brake pad and between the rotor. This aids in maintaining proper pad temperatures and preventing brake fade.
